Donna Jo Windham, a resident of Dothan passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2010 at Flowers Hospital. She was 45.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.Flowers are being accepted and Donna’s favorite flowers were red roses.rnMrs. Windham was born on April 16, 1964 in Geneva, AL and lived the early years of her life in Webb. She was a 1983 graduate of Houston County High School. Following high school she resided in Auburn and attended Auburn University and worked with the Auburn University Small Animal Clinic. She has resided in Dothan for the most part of her life and was a member of Harvest Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.V. Christmas, Rev. and Mrs. Gus Daughtry, and her father-in-law Jack Windham. rnSurvivors include her husband Derek Windham of Dothan; sons, Jack Windham of Dothan, Nick Windham of Dothan; mother Jo Christmas and her husband Jimmy of Webb; father Ronald Simmerman of Dothan; grandmother Chellie M. Christmas; mother-in-law Jacqueline B. Windham; sisters-in-law, Sheri Pieratti of Athens, GA, Teri Stokes of Surf City, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; a special friend Ashley Sornia of San Francisco, CA also survives.rnServing as pallbearers will be Charles Hicks, Matthew Patrick, Brandon Hannon, Michael Glasscock, Cody Blackstone, and Avery Phillips. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
