Doralee Olivia Blackmon

Doralee Olivia Harrison Blackmon, a resident of Dothan passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Extendicare. She was 54.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.Mrs. Blackmon was born May 20, 1954 in Washington, D.C. and she lived the early years of her life in West Palm Beach, Florida. Mrs. Blackmon resided in Clewiston Florida prior to moving to Cottonwood in 1974. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Pansey. The family will be at the home of Ray Capron, 3633 Jordan Avenue, Cowarts, Alabama.Survivors include her husband, Tommy Blackmon, Dothan; four sons, Joseph Harrison, Lewis Harrison, Michael Harrison and William Harrison all of Dothan; two daughters, Patricia Morgan and Laura Kelly of Gordon; three grand children; a brother, Raymond Capron, Dothan; a sister, Carol Capron, Dothan; several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Carter and Raymond Capron; her first husband, Lewis Harrison.
