Born on June 29, 1940, in Florida, Dorothy was a woman of remarkable strength and thoughtfulness, whose legacy is characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family and her deep Christian faith.
Dorothy, was the cherished matriarch of her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Ducker, her brothers, Wesley Noblin and Rex Noblin, and her parents, Curtis Noblin and Elaine Adams Noblin. Her memory will be honored and kept alive by her three sons, Ricky, Ronald, and Scott Ducker (Jennifer), her beloved grandchildren, James, Charles, Lucas Ducker, and Whitney Davis, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Riley and Sophia Douglas. Dorothy's sister, Sandra Sughrue, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends, will forever remember her loving spirit.
Throughout her life, Dorothy was the cornerstone of her household, a homemaker of the highest order who tirelessly tended to the needs of her family. Her hands were rarely still, as she passionately knitted and crocheted, creating beautiful clothes and dresses that were not only garments but also expressions of her love and care. The flowers that bloomed vibrantly around her home were a testament to her love for gardening, a hobby that brought her immense joy and peace.
Dorothy's life in Dothan, Alabama, was marked by her strong presence and the comfort she provided to those around her. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 2pm in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Avon, Alabama with Brother Charles Goldsmith officiating.
