Douglas Allen Quincey of Midland City passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was 18.Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. Matthew Quincey and Rev. Jason Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2009.Allen was born in Dothan on June 9, 1990. He attended Dale County High School and worked in yard maintenance and landscaping. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling.Allen was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Betty Kirkland.Survivors include his grandparents, Danny and Barbara Quincey, Midland City; a daughter, Skylar Quincey, Midland City; his parents, Brenda Grafton, Midland City, and Doug Marilyn Quincey, Newton; his sisters, Megan Quincey, Newton, and Staci Wood, Dothan; his aunt, Donna Fondren, Dothan; his uncles, Scott Wynn, Matthew Quincey, Jason Quincey, Dan Quincey and John Fondren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.Serving as active pallbearers will be John Fondren, James Wynn, Zach Lasseter, Adam Johnson, Jimmy Davis and Daniel Hitchcock. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
