Easter Cantrell

Easter Cantrell, 83, a resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday July 31, 2012 at her resident.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Deese officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the services.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Mrs. Cantrell was born March 31, 1929 in Donalsonville, Georgia and she lived the early years of her in Early County Georgia.  Mrs. Cantrell moved to Dothan in 1958 and owned and operated Wedding Bell Florist for over twenty years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Cantrell, Dothan; her son, Johnny Judy Mullen, Prince George, VA; five grandchildren, John A. Mullen, Lisa Dawn Langston, Marcia Lynn Bradley, Miranda Mae Mullen and Kristen Mullen; her sister, Lois Smith, Thomasville, GA; several sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
