Edward Hall

Edward Hall, a resident of Dothan passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. He was 81.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. on Monday.Mr. Hall was born on August 27, 1927 in Georgiana, Alabama and lived there the early years of his life. He joined the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Hall moved to Dothan in 1959 and worked at Fort Rucker in Helicopter Maintenance until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Dothan Masonic Lodge.Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife Margie Ann Hall who died in 1998.Survivors include his two sons, Tony Hall and his wife Kim of Dothan, Mark Hall and his wife Ferri of Wicksburg; his daughters, Sheila Hall of Cowarts, Amanda Gail Hall of Dothan, Geraldine Castriotta of Dothan; his five grandchildren, Tyndal Hall, Ashley Hall, Shane Hall, Dalton Hall Bagwell, Heather Marie Lane; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
