Edward Williams

Edward Williams, passed away peacefully with his sister at his side on Friday, November 25, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday November 28, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm-2pm Monday. The family will be at the home of his sister, Trish Elliot, 105 Nottoway Blvd, Dothan; friends and family are welcome anytime.

Edward, who was a huge Auburn fan, loved everyone and was loved by everyone that knew him.  He was very close with his sister, Trish Elliott and loved his niece and nephews; Shaun, Cherish and John-John as though they were his own.  He had three great-nieces; Briley, Paylin and Maddox that just melted his heart every time he saw them. He loved his brother-in-law very much, Tim Cunningham. He was so loved and will be greatly missed.  He is now in Heaven with his Savior, Jesus Christ and all that he loved so dearly.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Tullie J. Williams and his father Wallace Williams; numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his sisters, Trish Bill Elliott and Debra Killingsworth; nieces and nephews, Shaun Kim Cunningham, Cherish Caleb Moore, John “John John” Cunningham, Richard Killingworth, Justin Kacia Killingsworth, April Brandon Chandler; great nieces and nephews, Briley, Paylin, Maddox, Leelan and Jaxon; and a brother-in-law Tim Cunningham.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Cunningham, Terry Cunningham, Caleb Moore, Billy Williams, Tony Hanners, and Jonathan Deal.
