Eleanor Frances Beasley

Eleanor Frances Beasley, a resident of Pinckard passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Heaven was blessed on May 20, 2009 when they received one of the newest and most beautiful angels. We as her family thought “She’s Gone” but her Lord and Savior and the angels of heaven were shouting “Here She Comes.” She was 63.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robert Smith and Rev. Willie Parker officiating. Burial will follow at New Covenant Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the funeral home.Mrs. Beasley was born on January 20, 1946 in Clio, AL. She was a machine operator prior to her retirement. She loved sewing, crafts, gardening, and taking care of her birds and dogs. She was a member of New Covenant Church in Newton. Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her father Dewey Dorsett, her mother Vallie Beasley, a daughter Vanessa Dean, and 4 sisters Claudia, Maudie, Irene and Ruvella Dorsett.Survivors include her husband of 33 years Paul Beasley of Pinckard, AL; a son Kenny Green; daughters, Janet Proctor of Midland City, AL, Lisa Wilson of Pensacola, FL; a step-daughter Paula Burcham and her husband Larry; 2 step-sons, Pete Beasley and his wife Kim, Johnny Beasley and his wife Donna; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, John Beavers of Birmingham, AL, Maxine McMillan and her husband Bryan of Donalsonville, GA, Catherine Kennedy and her husband Sam of Donalsonville, GA, Molly Phillips and her husband Albert of Dothan, Jeanette Keel and her husband Tim of Dothan, Laura McMillan of Donalsonville, GA; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.Serving as active pallbearers will be her nephews, Paul Phillips, Doug Phillips, Rocky Phillips, Chad Phillips, Curtis Phillips, William Jones and Andrew Hogan. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
