Elizabeth Moseley, 79, a resident of Dothan passed away Thursday November 19, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial service will be held 1pm Friday, November 27, 2015 at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Moseley was born October 23, 1936 in Clio, Alabama and she moved to Dothan at an early age. Mrs. Moseley graduated from the University of Alabama and later received her master’s in Library Science from Florida State University. Mrs. Moseley served as librarian at Bear Lake School in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was later employed with Teague Middle schools in Seminole County School system as a librarian for twenty years before her retirement in 1982. After retiring, she went on trips to South Africa and Guatemala for 6 years and New Guinea for 2 years. She finally finished as a librarian about 2010, after serving 6 years at Yellowstone Christian College in Billings, Montana. She was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paula Mark Stein; her granddaughter Elizabeth Hanna; a great-granddaughter Eleanor Hanna; her brother Tom Judy Gachet; her brothers-in-law, Raymond Gillard and Buford Kirkland; a nieces and three nephews.
