Mrs. Essie Grubbs Bouier, 80 years old of Dothan passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID 19 Virus, a visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Funeral services for family and close friends will be held in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory. Mrs. Bouier was born to Robert and Ruth Grubbs. She was employed by J.C. Penneys for many years. Mrs. Bouier was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Jan Bouier and a brother Robert Grubbs. She is survived by a son Christopher Bouier of Atlanta, GA., sisters Annie Armbrister of Fort Lauderdale, FL., Alice Farmer of Dothan. A host of many relatives and friends in addition to a special nephews Jerry Ward, Karlos Grubbs and special niece Sheila Giles.
