Esther Louise Price Marshall, 91, of Grimes passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at her residence.

rnFuneral services will be held 4 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Preston and Rev. Max McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Klondike Gospel Music Center, c/o Ron Jeffers, 3885 Hwy. 123 South, Ozark, AL, 36360. rnMrs. Marshall was born June 2, 1919 in Grimes, AL and lived there and the Napier Field area all of her life. She was a homemaker and the widow of Bernie Marshall. She was a charter member of Napier Baptist Church where she served as the WMU President and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Grimes RSVP. She was a good Christian lady and enjoyed going to the Klondike Gospel sing. She tremendously loved her family and was well known as the “Sand Tart Lady.” She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Foy Price, and her husband of 58 years Bernie Marshall, brothers, Eugene Price and Leslie Price; her twin sister Lois Buckhalt and her sister Frances Ross. rnSurvivors include her son Robert “Bob” Marshall, Jr. Rose; her daughter Brenda Louise Marshall Trawick James; grandchildren, Kimberly Stitzer, Mark Trawick Stacey, LeAnne Messenger Toby, Jamie Lolley James, and Tracy Cumbie Dan; great-grandchildren, Amanda Stitzer, Colin Messenger, Ariel Lolley, Korin Lolley, Blake Thomas, Hunter Trawick, Sarah Trawick, Molly Cumbie, and Drew Cumbie; her brothers, John Price and Joe Price Sharon. rnServing as active pallbearers will be Mike Price, Tommy Price, Brandon Price, Todd Thompson, Steve Peterson, and Greg Ballard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Don Buckhalt and Edgar Ross. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
