Eugene Timothy Bergquist

Eugene Timothy “Tim” Bergquist, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011. He was 57.

rnFuneral services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David DelVecchio officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until 3 pm on Sunday. rnMr. Bergquist was born on November 8, 1953 in Ashland, KY, and lived the early years of his life in Nashville, TN. He was a graduate of Caribbean High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico and returned to the United States in 1973. Mr. Bergquist resided in Branson, MO and was employed as a manager of operations in the resort industry. He later moved to Cordell, GA and was a construction project manager for several years. At the time of his death, he was employed with Royal Pines Center in Hayden, Alabama, where he served as a counselor. Mr. Bergquist was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and was a member of Christ Church International. rnSurvivors include his two sons, Jeremiah Wells Melissa Bergquist and Timothy Harden Bergquist; his daughter, Katelyn Bergquist; the mother of his children, Joyce Wells Bergquist; his three grandchildren, Kaia Nicole Bergquist, Channing Wells Bergquist, and Shyla Bergquist; his mother, Joyce Bergquist; his brother, Dr. Stephen Bergquist Margaret; his two sisters, Catherine Bergquist Stanley Reynolds and Victoria Bergquist John McCormack; several nieces and nephews. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
