Eva Mae Davidson

April 30, 1922 — October 29, 2017

Mrs. Eva Mae Davidson of Dothan died Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was 95.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church, 3610 West Main Street, Dothan, AL, 36303, or to a favorite charity.

Mrs. Davidson was born in Chalkville, Alabama, on April 30, 1922, and was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and Massey College. She lived in Cullman, Alabama, until 1980, at which time she moved to Dothan. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Cleveland Clinton and Magnolia Wingard King, Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by two brothers, George Clinton King and James Murray King; a sister, Mary Louise Bainbridge; and two infant grandsons, Jeffrey Richett Voellinger and Paul Strayer Voellinger.

She is survived by her daughter, Joy Davidson Voellinger (Otto); grandson, Dr. David Compton Voellinger (Beeland); great grandchildren, Rebecca Beeland Voellinger and William Davidson Voellinger; and a sister, Gladys Hill.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Extendicare staff for their kindness in caring for Mrs. Davidson.
