Evelyn H. Rutland, 86, of Dothan passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Westside Terrace.

rnFuneral services will be held 1 pm Friday, August 26, 2011 at Roseland Park Cemetery in Hattiesburg, MS with Sunset Funeral Home directing. rnMrs. Rutland was born Feb. 1, 1925 in Hattiesburg, MS and lived there the early part of her life. She resided in Biloxi, MS for more than 50 years prior to moving to Mobile, AL. She moved to Dothan in 2009 and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rutland and her son James Rutland. rnSurvivors include her sons, Don Paula Rutland and Rod Rutland both of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Dr. Travis Dr. Beth Rutland, Lucas Katrina Rutland, Shawn Marie Rutland, Chris Rutland, Todd Rutland, Alicia Rutland, Troy Rutland, and Aaron Rutland; great-grandchildren, Emma Rutland, Molly Rutland, Kadence Rutland, Landen Rutland, Derek Stanbro, Damian Stanbro, Jaden Stanbro, India Stanbro, Dylan Stanbro, Adrian Rutland, and Karma Rutland; a sister Ernestine Thomas Luckie; nieces and nephews, Thomas Luckie, Jr., James Edward Luckie, and Theresa Luckie; great nieces and nephews, Ashlyn Wienk, Carley Luckie, and Kelsey Luckie.
