Fannie Gray Phillips

Fannie Gray Phillips, 79, of Webb, AL passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Ms. Phillips was born January 31, 1935 in Newville, AL and lived the early part of her life in Ocala, FL. She has resided in Webb for over 30 years. She has been employed with the Applefield Family for 30 years until her recent illness. She enjoyed fishing in the Applefield pond and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Webb.

Survivors include a daughter Johnnie Ann Berry; grandchildren, Christopher Theresa Jerome Moore, and Santoria J. Woods; great-grandchildren, Shacara Moore, Brakia Moore, Jada Moore, Naviell Woods, and Kingston Woods; a brother Robert Agnes Earl Gray; sisters, Annie Rev. Gene Crawley, and Willie Harvey Dell Flowers; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends Brian and Helen Applefield.
