Felix Jerry Sullivan

Felix Jerry Sullivan, 70, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his home near Midland City following a courageous battle with an extended illness.

Jerry was born March 23, 1943 in Geneva County and was raised in Napier field. He graduated from Midland City High School in 1962 and began his aviation career at Hayes International / Pemco. He completed his A&P License and traveled the world acquiring certifications. Jerry retired after 40 plus years of dedicated service and joined his wife at Roto Rooter in Ozark spending his days gardening, tinkering, and sharing his wisdom.

He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Sullivan; mother Ruby Sullivan; daughters, Melissa Sheffield Manning Sanders and Cristie Sullivan Ricky Laney; grandchildren, Angel, Dallas and Sierra Sheffield, and Courtney Vann; sisters, Joyce Klobucar and Barbara Durden Roger; sisters-in-law, Barbara Walding and Gail Stephens; a brother-in-law Randy Green Lisa; many beloved family members, employees and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Felix D. Sullivan; his son Jerry Scott Sullivan; brothers-in-law James Klobucar, Mikie Walding, Harry Parker and Robert Stephens; mother-in-law Evelyn Green; father-in-law Otis D. Green; and a sister-in-law Frankie Parker.

Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Midland City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Quincey officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Mikie Walding, Jr., Mark Walding, Michael Walding, Mason Walding, Matt Green and Blake Stephens.
