Forrest Conner

Forrest Conner, age 43, special, special child of Charles and Martha Conner died peacefully at her Dothan home Monday morning surrounded by family and closest of friends.

Those who were blessed to know her knew how she touched lives in her own special way. She taught us so much as she coped with the multitude of challenges she faced in her daily life. Her resilience and zest for life were remarkable. Her profound innocence brought joy and smiles to all.

The family wishes to express special gratitude to Stewart Home School, Frankfort, Kentucky which was her “home” for 23 years. The staff of SHS provided immeasurable love, care and support for Forrest as they do for the 400 other “students” who reside there. Special recognition for Sandy Bell and Rachael Stewart whom Forrest dearly loved.

We reluctantly gave up her physical being, but are comforted in knowing that as she frolics with the other angels today, there will be no more pain nor anguish.

She was dearly loved by many but none more so than her cousins, Susie, Christy and Mandy; and her aunts and uncles and her adopted cousins Paula, Shea and Jana.

The family wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of kindness, support and prayers. There will be a memorial service in Frankfort, Kentucky at the Stewart Home School date to be set.
