Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephanie Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 pm.
Mrs. Clements was born on March 11, 1928 in Ceres, Virginia to the late Andrew and Leola Hammond Bogle. She then moved to Hopewell, Virginia where she graduated from high school. Mrs. Clements would move once again to Maryland and begin working for Bell Telephone as an operator where she met and married the love of her life, Julion Clements. They were married for 72 wonderful years. She was a loving and devoted US Air Force Veteran's wife, who served this country proudly for 21 years. Mrs. Clements enjoyed bowling in a couple's league, winning numerous awards together, and fishing trips with Julion. She enjoyed shopping and most especially when her daughters could join her for lunch as well. Mrs. Clements was a 50-year member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Julion Clements; her 2 daughters, Julia Taylor and Janet (Rick) Hinton; her 2 grandchildren, Bryan (Cindy) Taylor and Wayne (Brooke) Taylor; her 5 great-grandchildren, Courtney Taylor, Collin Taylor, Ashleigh Taylor, Addison Taylor, and Jordan Taylor; her niece, Delores Claibrey; and numerous extended family and friends.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Collin Taylor, Bryan Taylor, Wayne Taylor, and Rick Hinton.
