Freeman Morgan Miles

Freeman Morgan Miles, age 90, of Kinsey, AL passed away on November 30, 2016 after a brief illness.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday December 3, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Lassiter officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday December 2, 2016 from 5:30-7:30.

Mr. Miles was born on October 7, 1926 in Louisville, AL and lived there the early years of his life. He worked for Walden Tractor Company from 1950 to 1969. In 1969 he purchased Walden Tractor Company and later formed Miles Ford Tractor, until his retirement in 1990.

Mr. Miles was proceeded in death by his parents, his two brothers, and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Katie Nell Miles; his son, Jeffrey Miles; his grandchildren, Kristen Miles Rollins, Jean Elizabeth Miles; a great grandson, Coy Rollins; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Reneau, Charles Reneau, Vince Arnold, Wayne Jenkins, Red Horn, and Larry Dykes.
