Geneva Barham Stephens, 97, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in a nursing home in McCalla, AL.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Memory Hill Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing.

Geneva was born on August 30, 1923 in Perry County, Tennessee to Joe and Charlotte Barham. She lived in Dothan for over 50 years before moving to the Birmingham area to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed golfing and bowling. Geneva was a devout Christian.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Stephens; her grandson, Alan Bates; and her sisters, Josephine Head, Irene Chandler and Ruby Jo O'Connor.

Survivors include her daughters, Joan Bates, Charlotte Law, and Peggy (Randy) Bates; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. Burial Date April 3, 2021 Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Memory Hill Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing.
