Geroline R. Goldin, a resident of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her residence. She was 89. The family will receive family and friends at Mrs. Goldin's home, 208 S. Idlewild Path, Dothan, AL 36303 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 2-4 pm. Mrs. Goldin was born on December 31, 1928 in Attalla, Alabama and moved to Rockmart, GA. She was a 1948 graduate of Rockmart High School and moved to Athens, GA with her husband while he played football with the University of Georgia. Mrs. Goldin resided in Pembroke, GA until moving to LaGrange in 1975. She was employed with LaGrange High School for 16 years until relocating to Dothan in 2005. Mrs. Goldin attended cardiac rehab at Southeast Alabama Medical Center with her sweet friends. She adored her great-granddaughter, Olivia, was an avid gardener, and loved sewing and cooking for her family. Mrs. Goldin is preceded in death by, her husband, James B. Goldin, her parents Gertrude Thompson Rogers and David Marvin Rogers, her sisters, Catherine Rogers Carter and Joanna Rogers Jay. Survivors include her children, LeeAnne Goldin (Richard) Gracy of Hartford, AL and Sally Goldin (John) Schepps of Grapevine, TX; her grandchildren, Richard (Sonia) Gracy, Jr. of Hartford, AL, Allison Gracy (Seth) Skinner of Nashville, TN, Sarah E. Gracy of Hartford, AL, and Lauren R. Schepps of Grapevine, TX; her great granddaughter, Olivia M. Gracy of Hartford, AL; her sisters, Earoline Rogers Humphries of Rockmart, GA and Willa Lee Rogers McLendon of Vidalia, GA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
