Gerry Allen Lindholm

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home with Dave Lindey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Gerry was born on July 31, 1947 in Burbank, CA to the late George Albert and Elsie Lindholm and lived his early years in Birmingham before moving to Dothan. He was a graduate of Dothan High School and from Auburn University where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Gerry was employed with Monsanto in Pensacola, FL before beginning his forty-year career with Michelin as a Mechanical Engineer. He also honorably served for 6 years in the Alabama National Guard. He enjoyed traveling, billiards, golf, and horseshoes. Gerry also liked watching Nascar and Auburn Football.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Lindholm; his son, Erik (Jennifer) Lindholm; his grandchildren, Ella, Anna, and George; and his sister, Cheryl Lindholm Browning.
