Glynn Ross Kennedy, Jr., 50, of Dothan died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at his residence.

rnA memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allie Freeman and Rev. Sterling Boykin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church “In Christ’s Name Fund” 1380 W. Main St., Dothan, AL 36301 or to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 1231 Fortner St., Dothan, AL 36301. rnMr. Kennedy was born on October 8, 1960 in Houston County and lived in Dothan most of his life. He was a 1978 graduate of Dale County High School. He was employed as a mechanic at Flavor House for several years until his recent illness. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. rnSurvivors include his son Chad Kennedy and his daughter Jaclyn Kennedy both of Birmingham; his father Ross Kennedy, Sr. and his wife Margaret of Dothan; his mother Ann Borland Ramsey and her husband Richard H., III of Dothan; his sister Kim Kennedy of Dothan; aunts and uncles, Sue and Bubba Sellers of Dothan, Linda and Tom Lott of Fairhope, Mac and DeLane Borland of Pinckard, Paul and Wanda Kennedy of Midland City; niece and nephew Cheyann Nelson of Dothan and Michael Kennedy of Panama City, FL. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
