Gregory Keith Carpenter

Gregory Keith Carpenter, a resident of Prattville, AL and formerly of Dothan, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his residence. He was 62.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 15, 2010 at Ashford City Cemetery with Rev. John D. Reese officiating. Mr. Carpenter was born in Houston County and lived the early years of his life in Ashford and graduated from Ashford High School. He was employed with Ward-Wilson Funeral Home for several years. He later was employed with and retired from the State of Alabama with the Alabama Department of Forensic Science as a Lab Technician. He had resided in the Montgomery area for the past 11 years.Survivors include his mother, Mary Carpenter of Dothan; his two sons, Heath Carpenter and his wife Jerri of Dothan and Yancy Carpenter and his wife Joy of Auburn; his grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan Carpenter; his two brothers, Phillip Carpenter of Atlanta, GA and Paul Carpenter and his wife Cindy of Savannah, GA; his sister Amy Fallin and her husband Vance of Thomaston, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
