Harold Crew

Harold Crew, 80 a resident of Ashford, passed away May 24, 2016 at Signature Health Care in Graceville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, May 27, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Stan Ussery officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm – 2pm Friday.

Mr. Crew was born April 21, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and he lived the early years of his life in Clark Gable, Florida.  He enlisted the United States Army where he served for several years.  Following his military service, he moved to Pomona Valley, California where he meet the love of his life, Linda Blystone and they married in 1985.  They have resided in Ashford for the past 17 years. He was a wonderful, heaven sent husband who loved visiting his children, grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was an avid bowler and loved cracking jokes and feeding the birds.  Mr. Crew was a member of New Beginning Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Crew; his son Doug Crew; his daughter, Deleria Dohner; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
