Harold Franklin Mcinnes

Harold Franklin McInnes, a resident of Headland, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his residence. He was 88 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. McInnes was born on May 8, 1932 in Mobile, AL and lived there the early years of his life. He moved to Wetumpka, AL in his teen years. Mr. McInnes joined the US Air Force and served for several years. He attended Alabama Polytech Institute. Mr. McInnes has resided in Dothan for the past 40 years and was employed with Daniel Construction until he retired in 1994. He worked at Ingalls Ship Building in Pascagoula, MS as a nondestructive test inspector.

Mr. McInnes was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jean McInnes, by his son, Frank McInnes, by his granddaughter, Brittany Kelley, and by his son-in-law, Byrd Buie.

Survivors include his sons, Patrick (Tanna) McInnes, Daniel (Virginia) McInnes; his daughters, Cindy Buie and Laura McInnes; his 5 grandchildren, Bridget (Jason) Fox, Samantha Crawford, Josh McInnes, Tori (Tristan) Adams, and Darby McInnes; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Joe (Sandra) McInnes; and daughter-in-law, JoAnne McInnes.

Burial Date January 1, 2021 Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday at the funeral home
