Harry Thomas Planck, Jr.

Harry Thomas Planck, Jr., a resident of Midland City, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at his residence. He was 66.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 3 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for 1 hour prior to the service.

Harry was born on January 18, 1952 in Michigan and lived there his earlier years. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he moved to Warren, Michigan and worked at the Detroit Army Tank Plant. In 1999, he moved to Dothan and was employed with the government as a Program Integrator until his retirement in 2009. Harry enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping in his RV and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Planck; his sons, Jeremy Planck and Thomas Bain; and his daughter, Courtney Bain.
