Harvey Keith Peeterse

Harvey Keith Peeterse, a resident of Midland City passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Flowers Hospital. He was 51.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.Mr. Peeterse was born January 24, 1959 in Houston County and lived all of his life in the Midland City area. He was employed with Waffle House for over 30 years and later for Troy University in the maintenance department.Survivors include his wife Sandi Peeterse of Midland City; his daughters, Ashley Carter and her husband Joe of Dothan and Amanda Peeterse of Midland City; his brothers, John Peeterse of Panama City, FL, Allen Metcalf and his wife Jena of Midland City, Danny Metcalf of Dothan, Clarence Metcalf and his wife Barbara of Ozark, and Greg Metcalf and his wife Heather of Ozark; his sisters, Lisa Beltran and her husband James of Dothan and Sharon Bussey of Dothan; several nieces and nephews also survive.Serving as active pallbearers will be John Peeterse, Allen Metcalf, Danny Metcalf, Clarence Metcalf, Greg Metcalf, and James Beltran. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
