Hassie Earline Johnson

Hassie Earline Johnson, a resident of Dothan passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Westside Terrace. She was 88.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Coley Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.Mrs. Johnson was born on October 20, 1921 in Houston County and she resided most of life in Dothan. Mrs. Johnson was employed with S.H. Kress for over twenty-one years and later she worked with Branton Grocery Store until she retired in 1986. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and Rose Hill Senior Citizens. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband. P.L. Johnson; a sister, Florene Paulk; her parents, Doss and Lela Mae Pipkin. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Hundley and her husband, Terry, Dothan; her son, Phillip Johnson and his wife, Jackie, Dothan; three grandchildren, Teresa Davis and her husband, Rhett, T.J. Hundley and his wife, Grace, Will Hundley and his wife, Catherine; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Nell Rose and her husband, Junior, Dothan; several nieces and nephews. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
