Henry Richards, Sr.

Henry Richards, Sr., 65, of Abbeville, AL passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm Monday, June 11, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Mr. Richards was born September 4, 1946 in Abbeville, AL and lived there most of his life. He was employed with Teledyne and the City of Abbeville prior to his retirement in 2009.

Survivors include his sons, Henry Richards, Jr., Harrison Richards, and Kenneth Green; a daughter Angela Richards; 2 grandchildren, Montrel Sanders and Joshua Grubbs; a brother John A. Richards, Jr.; a niece Joann Mayo; a nephew Jerome Richards.

Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his parents, John Andrew Richards, Sr. and Mary Shaw Richards.
