Homer “Smitty” Smith, 85, a resident of Ozark died Friday, February 25, 2011 at a Dale Medical Center.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 11 am Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. Mr. Smith was born February 16, 1926 in Houston, Texas and he resided the early years of his life there. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Smith moved to Tampa, Florida in 1959 and he was employed as a TV and Antenna Repairman most of his working career. He has resided in Ozark for the past 25 years and he was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Barnum, Tampa, FL, and Toni Taylor, Texas; stepsons, Greg Rincon and his wife Teresa A. Rincon, Panama City, FL, and Torey Rincon and his wife Teresa H. Rincon, Panama City Beach, FL; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Burial Date: January 1, 1970Visits: 2
