Ina Mae Preston Beverett

Ina Mae Preston Beverett, a resident of Christian Hill Community passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her residence. She was 86.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Mt. Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Causey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Enon Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday evening. rnMrs. Beverett was born December 15, 1923 in Dale County and she lived all of her life in the Christian Hill Community. Mrs. Beverett was employed with Wex-Tex Manufacturing for forty-four years and later a day care service until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church.rnMrs. Beverett was preceded in death by her parents, William Irvin Preston and Lummie Mae Walding Preston.rnSurvivors include her husband of 69 years, John A. Beverett of Christian Hill Community; three sons, Marcus Beverett and his wife Nina of Abbeville, Joey Beverett and his wife Mary of Christian Hill Community, Jesse Beverett and his wife Peggy of Christian Hill Community; two daughters, Martha Jean Beverett Toole of Havana, FL and Lindy Bailey and her husband Brent of Enterprise, AL; her ten grandchildren; her 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
