Ines Piedad Williams

Ines Piedad Williams, 57, of Dothan passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at her residence.

A Prayer Service will be held Sunday November 30, 2014 at 7pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, and A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Monday December 1, 2014 at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home directing.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.

Ines was born March 28, 1957 to General Jose Jaime and Mercedes Rodriguez in Colombia, South America.  After her undergraduate degree, she pursued a master in early childhood education where she met her husband David Williams in Houston, Texas and they had two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth.  Ines' gentle spirit was felt by many people and she loved her family immensely. She was a faithful patron at St. Columba Catholic Church and spent her time volunteering.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, David Wayne Williams M.D.; her daughters, Elizabeth Mary and Jennifer Lynne Williams; her father, Jose Jaime Rodriquez; her brothers, Jose Jaime Rodriquez, Sergio Rodriquez, Edwardo Rodriquez and Ricardo Rodriquez; her sisters, Perla Ramon Rodriquez; Ana Consuelo Rodriquez and Estella Rodriquez; several nieces and nephews.
