Jack W Wilson

Jack Wilson, of Kinston, passed away Monday May 6, 2019 at his residence. He was 71. Services will be held at a later date. Jack was born December 7, 1947 in Miami Springs, FL and lived in the South Florida area in his earlier years. He was a 1964 graduate of Hialeah High School. Following his graduating he began his career as a law enforcement officer with the city of Miami Springs Police Department. After several years in law enforcement he went to get his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career in engineering. Jack moved to Geneva in 1994 and worked with SAJAW Tires and then worked as an over the road truck driver. He was employed with SEACAP before his medical retirement. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, wood working, playing piano and his guitar, fishing, and telling jokes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wilson; parents, Hershell and Delores Wilson; his siblings George Matcovich and his wife Margaret, and Betty Reeves and her husband Sonny. He is survived by his children, Duane (Kara) Wilson, Crystal (Todd) Dugan, and Ian (Donna) Antolik; his grandchildren, Toni Wilson, Chase Wilson, Sean Dugan, Sierra Dugan, Brooke Antolik, and Matt Antolik; his great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Claira; his siblings, Melva (William) Depkins, Donald (Iris) Matcovich, and Glenn (Lauren) Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
