Jackie Ward Pruitt

Jackie Ward Maloney Wright Pruitt, 96, of Dothan passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at a local hospital.

rnGraveside services will be 1 pm Friday, April 27, 2012 at Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Tripp Crane officiating and Robert Byrd directing. Flowers are being accepted or memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity. rnMrs. Pruitt was born March 29, 1916 in Lane, TN and lived the early part of her life there. She was a homemaker and was also employed with the Obion County Clerk’s office in Tennessee for several years prior to her retirement. She has resided in Dothan for the past 20 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Asa Wright, and her second husband Hurman Pruitt, her son Max Wright, her granddaughter Cherie Dean Allen, her parents Jack and Eula Maloney, sisters Charlene Maloney and Elisie Buck Antcliff, brothers Gene Maloney and Jack Maloney, Jr.. rnSurvivors include her daughters, Norma Allen of Newton, Mickie Murray of Naples, FL, and Janice Crane of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Donna Hodges, Larry Allen, Tripp Crane, Mike Crane, Jennifer Wilson, and Jeff Murray; great-grandchildren, Danielle Renfroe, Cherie Marie Allen, Deanna Hodges, Rachel Crane, Elizabeth Crane, Andrew Crane, Allie Murray, Avery Crane, Cole Murray, and Asa Crane; a great-great-granddaughter Jaden Bence; a sister Betty Jo Gann of AZ.
