James Matthew Inge

James Matthew Inge, 33, of Midland City passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Matthew was born February 11, 1980 in Pensacola, FL and spent the early part of his life there. He was self-employed for several years as a carpenter in the Wiregrass area. Matthew was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Roy Inge.

Survivors include his mother Susan Mercer of Midland City; his father Don Inge Tammy of Cantonment, FL and; a brother Daniel Inge Becky of Pensacola, FL; a sister Amanda Inge of Midland City; grandparents, Vannie Mercer, James Mercer, and Doris Inge; nephews, Easton Inge, Colton Inge, and Kyle Inge; many friends, family members and a special canine companion "Diamond" also survive.

Pallbearers will be Derek Hall, Brenton Hall, Scott McConnell, Bryan McConnell, Cody Wilkinson, and Jason Kirkland. Honorary pallbearers will be George Crooke and Allen Mercer.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of the 5th Floor MICU at Flowers Hospital for their loving care and support during the past several days.
