James J. Mullins

James Jackson Mullins, a resident of Dothan died on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was 81.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 26 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Adams and Rev. Clint Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Green Valley Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service on Monday.Mr. Mullins was born April 12, 1929 in Barbour County and he resided the early years of his life there. Mr. Mullins moved to Webb in 1949 and he resided there for the past sixty years. He was a member of New Freedom Church and Senior Saints.Survivors include his sons, Arthur J. Walker of Webb, Willie J. Walker of Webb, Bobby Walker and his wife Rhonda of Cowarts, Willie C. Walker of Dothan and John Earl Walker and his wife Yurlene of Dothan; his daughters, Betty J. Walker of Webb, Mary Walker Harvey of Dothan, Jannis Walker Stroud of Dothan and Eva Walker Moore of Webb; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Eva Lou Mullins of East Orange, NJ; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends also survive. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Westside Terrace for their loving care, support and friendship for the past several years. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
