James Russell Sanders

James Russell “Rusty” Sanders, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009. He was 45.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Askew officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.Mr. Sanders was born on March 29, 1964 in Melborne, FL and lived the early years of his life in Jasper, FL. He moved to Dothan in 1979 and worked with Houston Propane Co. and Thermo-gas Co. for 20 years prior to starting his own company called Thermo-man Services which he operated for several years. Rusty loved playing softball, fishing, boating, water skiing, and enjoyed anything associated with the rodeo and wearing his snakeskin apparel. His family was very important to him.Survivors include his son J.D. Sanders of Enterprise; his brothers, Randy Hutton of Dothan, Billy Hutton and his wife Sandy of Malvern, Roger Hutton and his wife Cindy of Dothan; his sisters, Cheryl Hunter and her husband Gary of Jasper, FL, Sonya and her husband Rick of Kinsey; 6 nieces; 5 nephews; 5 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
