James David Slaugh

James David Slaugh, a resident of Midland City passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Flowers Hospital. He was 75.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Coley Holloway officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.Mr. Slaugh was born on October 16, 1934 in Lancaster, PA and lived there the early years of his life. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Navy. He resided in Ft. Lauderdale, FL prior to moving to Dothan in 1980 where he was employed with Wallace College in Data Processing until his retirement.Survivors include his wife of 43 years Sherry Slaugh of Midland City; a brother Dick Slaugh of Oregon; 2 sisters, Susan Silver and her husband Steve of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Ann Nolt and her husband Joseph of Lancaster, PA. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
