Jane Pauline Manross, of Panama City, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. She was 75. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-3 pm. Mrs. Manross was born on June 9, 1944 in Oil City, Pennsylvania and lived there until 1966. She moved with her husband to Chanute Air Force Base where he was stationed until moving to Langley Air Force Base. In 1981 they would relocate to Holloman Air Force Base and then to Oil City from 1984-1986. From 1986-2019 they would be located at Tyndall Air Force Base. Mrs. Manross enjoyed sewing and crafts. She especially loved the Christmas season, decorating the tree and Christmas ornaments. Mrs. Manross was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Martha L. Pleger, and by her sister, Rose Jeanette Taylor. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Manross; her children, Marthana Manross Ward, Robin (Scott) Brewster, and Wayne A. Manross, III; her grandchildren, Victoria "Tori" Harvill, Elizabeth Brewster, and Stanley Brewster; her great grandchildren, Aiden Manross and Ann Marie Brewster; her siblings, John "Jack" (Mary) Pleger, Jr., Nancy (Richard) Murray, Edward (Sally) Pleger, and Robert "Bob" Pleger; and several nieces and nephews.
