Janice White

Janice White, 67, of Gordon passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her daughter's home in Dothan.

Graveside services will be 10 am Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Springhill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Tony Clay officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mrs. White was born November 28, 1946 in Bainbridge, Georgia and resided the early years of her life there.  She attended Bainbridge High School and move to Gordon over 40 years ago.  Mrs. White was employed with McDonalds for over twenty years until her retirement.  She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren.  Mrs. White really enjoyed being outside and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Mildred Benton; an infant brother Eddie Benton; an infant sister Sara Benton; 2 brothers, Joseph Benton and Curtis Benton.

Survivors include her husband Johnny Mack White of Gordon; her son Keith Collins of Dothan; her daughter Lisa Alex White of Dothan; her grandchildren, Chad Tiffany White of Dothan and Alexa Rolando Torres of Dothan; her great-granddaughter Xander Torres; her great-grandson, Aidan Torres; her mother-in-law Katheryn White; a brother Dennis Benton of Bainbridge, GA; a sister Mary Thomas of Bainbridge, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
