Airman 1st Class A1C Jaylen King U.S. Air Force, 21, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 while stationed at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, NE.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hal Reynolds officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

A1C King was born August 31, 1995 in Dothan, AL and lived in Dothan most of his life. He was a 2014 graduate of Rehobeth High School where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was a member of the First True Outreach Ministries.

Survivors include his mother, Roslyn Denise King of Dothan, AL; his father, Jerrel Jermaine Wynn of Huntsville, AL; his grandparents, Shirley Strozier, Harold Eunice King, Sarah Andrew Lovett, and James Vickers, all of Dothan, AL; his great-grandparents, Shirley McCree; his siblings, Xalee Vickers of Dothan, Xoie Vickers of Dothan, Ja'Drian Vickers of Dothan, Sher'rel Vickers of Ft. Campball, KY, Jer'rel Vickers of Dothan, and Dorrien Wynn of Dothan; his aunts, LaDajah Brantley of Dothan, Cecilia Kelvin Acree of Dothan, Frances Cedric Hughes of Dothan, Harriette Paul Montgomery of Panama City, FL, and Hazel Robert Hooven of Ft. Wayne, IN; his uncles, Clifford Reese of Columbus, OH and Larry Natalie Corbitt of Dothan, AL.

A1C King was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilbert H. Strozier, Jr.
