Jeanette Jones

Jeanette H. Jones, a resident of Dothan passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at her residence. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Faith Tabernacle Community Church with Rev. T.P. Martin and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 9-10 am prior to the service at the church.Mrs. Jones was born on February 26, 1933 in Houston County, Alabama and lived in the Dothan area all of her life. She attended Cottonwood High School and was an employee of DSI Security for over 10 years. She loved going to church at Faith Tabernacle Community and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Hayes; husband James A. Jones; brothers, Charlie Hayes, JP Hayes, and David Hayes; a sister Dorothy Johnson; a son Ronnie Snellgrove; a great grandson Joey Drescher. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Henderson and her husband Ray of Dothan; a son Lloyd Snellgrove and his wife Vicki of Ozark; a sister-in-law Patricia Ann Hayes; grandchildren, Amy, Jamie. Tommy, Brandy, Heather, Tina, Jeremy, and Jordy; 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
