Jeanette Parrish

Jeanette Parrish, 73, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 due to complications of cancer at Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Tuesday, January 3, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Coley Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2pm-3pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Parrish was born September 12, 1943 in Houston County and she lived the early years of her life in Cottonwood. Mrs. Parrish resided in Dothan for the past 45 years and she attended Eastside Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Parrish, her parents, Rufus and Mae Averitt, her loving daughter, Shannon Bell Andrews, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her granddaughters, Carly Andrews and Madison Andrews.
