Jeffrey J.B. Burt Skinner

Jeffrey Burt "J.B." Skinner, 44, of Dothan passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be 3 pm Monday, February 17, 2014 at Ashford City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Bynum officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church, 3250 S. Rocky Creek Rd., Ashford, AL, 36312, or to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Rd., Dothan, AL, 36303.

J.B. was born August 31, 1969 in Ft. McClellan, AL and lived there the early part of his life. He was a 1987 graduate of Rehobeth High School and received his A&P license at the Alabama Aviation Center in Ozark, AL. He was employed with PEMCO at the Dothan Airport and AFS in Ft. Rucker as an aircraft mechanic. J.B. enjoyed fishing and driving cars in the Demolition Derby's. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Lee Skinner and his sister Penny Wills.

Survivors include his daughter Jessica Skinner; his mother Ebeline Tina Skinner; a brother Corby Rogers; sisters, Connie Steven White and Anita Terry Kirkland; a brother-in-law Alfred Wills; several nieces and nephews also survive.
