Jerome Jerry Finn

Jerome Jerry Finn of Dothan, Alabama passed away at his residence on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was 71.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 prior to the service.

Mr. Finn was born in Houston County on February 9, 1946 and resided in Dothan for a majority of his life. He was employed with WTVY and WDHN as an operations manager for over 30 years until his retirement in 2013. Jerry loved to fish and ride his golf cart and was a diehard Alabama football fan. He resided in Forrest Brook subdivision where he served as the president of the home owner association.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Inez Finn; grandparents AB and Ella Clark; and his granddaughter, Logan Finn.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Finn; his son, Jerrad (Tara) Finn; his daughter, Natalie (Ralph) Hodgdon; his step-sons, Bruce (Pam) Walden and Brent (Mindy) Walden; three grandchildren, Lauren Finn, Tyler Hodgdon, and Trent Hodgdon; his great-grandchild, Kinlee Oliver; his step-granddaughter, Abby Walden; his step-grandson, Hunter Cetchum; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
