Jerrall "Jerry" Ellis

Jerrall "Jerry" Eugene Ellis, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at a local hospital. He was 81.

Jerry was born on February 25, 1941 in Huntington, West Virginia to Hirshel Blaine and Glenna Maxine Ellis. As a young adult, he moved to Panama City where he was stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base where he met the love of his life, Tallullah Beaman Ellis. They were married for 58 years. Jerry worked in the construction business and enjoyed woodworking. He was very creative and artistic. In his spare time, he liked spending time with his family and playing golf.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Hirshel and Glenna Ellis; his wife, Tallullah "Monty" Ellis; his daughter, Tammy Renee Hughes; his great-granddaughter, Adelyn Williams; and his brother, Jackie Ellis.

Survivors include his son, Jerrall "Sean" (Charlene) Ellis; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Ellis, Alexis Ellis, Kody Ellis, Kasi Hughes, Whitney Bronson and Zach Hughes; his great-grandchildren, Bentley Bronson, Ainsley Hughes, Landon Bronson, Abel Edwards and Avalee Edwards; his brothers, Pete (Marcia) Ellis and Larry (JoAnn) Ellis; his sisters, Betty Jo Goss and Linda Goss; and numerous nieces and nephews.
