Jerry Mark Reeder, 53, of Dothan went to Heaven Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at his residence.

Services will be held 1 pm Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. There will be a procession from the church to the cemetery with a special lineup for motorcycles along with the Motorcycle Hearse in Mark’s memory. Burial will follow in New Teamon Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday at the funeral home. In addition to flowers memorial donations may be made to Pilots for Christ, P.O. Box 707, Monroeville, AL, 36461, Wiregrass Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL, 36303, or Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1231 Fortner St., Dothan, AL, 36301.Mark was born May 23, 1957. He lived in Slocomb the early years of his life, and was a 1975 graduate of Slocomb High School. Mark moved to Dothan following high school and was a sales representative in the flooring industry for most of his career. He was an avid motorcycle rider and when riding with his friends he was always looking for a new place to dine. He loved the freedom of riding and always enjoyed meeting others who were Harley enthusiasts. Mark was a member of the Harley Owners Group and Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mark was preceded in death by his father Cecil M. Reeder.Survivors include his wife Starla Sipper Reeder; his mother Marjorie Stewart Reeder; brothers, Phillip Reeder Angie, and Vince Reeder; sisters, Melanie Brannon Freddy, and Kimberly Seagers; several very special nieces and nephews including Candace Trawick, Brent Reeder, Brandon Reeder, Justin Reeder, Austin Snellgrove, Caden Seagers, Trenton Reeder; a great nephew Jonah Trawick; several cousins, and many, many friends.Serving as active pallbearers will be Jay Haisten, Jason Cox, Danny Shute, Eddie Ingram, Max Morris, and Kenny Cox. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tim Ingram, Bill Cox, and Craig Mancil. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
