Jesse Frank Brown, II, 68, of Dothan passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at a local hospital.

rnFuneral services will be held 10 am Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. James Bradley officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 8:30 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. rnMr. Brown was born February 20, 1944 in Memphis, TN and lived the early part of his life in Natchez, MS. He joined the U.S. Army and served for 27 years until his retirement in 1992 at Ft. Riley, KS. He was a Veteran of the Desert Storm War. Following his military service he attended Wallace Community College where he received an Associate Degree and also a degree from LaSalle University in Chicago, IL in Culinary Arts. rnSurvivors include his sons, Jessie Frank Smith Kim of Donalsonville, GA, Alfonzo D. Brown Alonda of Ft. Drum, NY, and Rufus Michelle Brown Suzanne of Dothan, AL; 4 grandchildren also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
