Jimmy Wayne Visage

Beloved father and devoted husband, Jimmy Wayne Visage passed away peacefully the morning of October 26, 2009 at his residence in Dothan. He was 46.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Kornegay officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.Mr. Visage was born on June 20, 1963 in Houston County and lived the early years of his life in Dothan. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired after 22 years of honorable and distinguished service. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Dothan.Mr. Visage was preceded in death by his grandparents, Crawford and Lula Kornegay of Dothan and Lewis and Lucy Visage of Cleveland, TN.Survivors include his wife of 26 years Melanie Colella Visage; his 2 sons, Christopher Wayne Visage, Aaron Lewis Visage; his grandson Gabriel Lee Visage; a brother Dennis Visage and family of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Lounella McCluer and family of Pocatello, ID, Benita Visage and family of Tallahassee, FL; his father Wayne Visage of Blairsville, GA; his mother Louetta Visage of Clearwater, FL; in-laws, Thomas and Kathy Colella, Nancy Colella; brothers and sisters-in-law, Toni and Paul Hayes, Amanda and Billy Smith, Thomas and Angie Colella; very special Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also survive and he was loved by all.Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Colella Sr., Thomas Colella Jr., Billy Smith, Paul Hayes, Christopher Visage and Joe Hart. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Visage. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
